Casa recruits, trains and supports hundreds of community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in Mercer County's foster care system. Our casa Advocates are supervised by our case management staff. Because the children assigned to us have experienced significant trauma both leading up to and surrounding the removal from their home, we have two certified adverse childhood experiences (aces) and connections matter trainers on our staff.
