Program areas at Corrib Theatre
This year we presented three mainstage live theatre productions to the Portland area public: Woman and Scarecrow by Marina Carr, Spear by CN Smith, and From a Hole in the Ground by Ken Yoshikawa. We hosted talkback discussions at select performances of our plays Woman and Scarecrow and Spear, featuring artists from each production discussing the themes in the plays. Our production From a Hole in the Ground was an original script we commissioned from local writer Ken Yoshikawa, and co-produced with Historic Alberta House. We also hosted Aran & Im (Bread and Butter), a production by Irish language expert Manchán Magan, during its tour to North America from Ireland. Across these productions, we reached 1,589 audience members over 49 performances. We hired 10 actors, as well as 26 directors, designers, stage managers, artists, and technicians. continued - see Schedule O
