National matches, clubs, and competitions - encourage civilian competitive markmanship programs and provide Firearms and range Safety instructions
Jrotc and active army programs-at no cost to the government, cmp develops curriculum for marksmanship and Safety instruction, trains and certifies jrotc coaches, inspects high school range facilities, organizes, administers, and conducts jrotc air Rifle competitions for all military services, subsidizes jrotc travel to cmp events, awards significant scholarships to deserving jrotc and other high school marksmanship competitors. Provides annual grants to state 4-h shooting programs. At no cost to the government, cmp produces and provides marksmanship Safety videos and literature, administers jrotc.
Sales and distribution-provide funds required for the Corporation's continued operations in promoting Firearms and range Safety. All sales pursuant to federal statute.
the civilian marksmanship program (cmp) prepares m1 garands for the ceremonial Rifle program at no cost to the u.s. army. the cmp rebuilds, refinishes, installs new wood, blank firing adapter, and function fires each m1 garand ceremonial before shipping to u.s. army approved veterans organization for use in funeral details, parades, and honor guards. the cmp also contributed to the maintenance and Safety manual provided to each veterans organization. the u.s. army recognizes cmp as the subject matter expert concerning the m1 garand. We, the cmp, are proud to be a part of this worthwhile endeavor of providing a quality m1 garand ceremonial Rifle for honoring those who have sacrificed so much for our great country.
