Program areas at Cook Inletkeeper

Healthy habitat: the purpose of this program is to protect Alaska's wild salmon and their habitat in a changing climate and includes science, advocacy and education.
Capacity: this program ensures a healthy organization and enables Cook Inletkeeper to conduct work in all program areas related to its mission.
Local resiliency: the purpose of this program is to foster local resilience through food. The Alaska food hub is an aggregator and online marketplace of locally grown, harvested, and produced foods and crafts. We make it possible for producers to work together to meet the growing demand for local, sustainable food in the homer, ninilchik, soldotna, seldovia, and other areas. Farmers, fishers, makers, and more benefit from the marketing, selling, and delivering of their products. The marketplace brings fresh, healthy, locally grown and produced food and handmade crafts the buyer in a cost-effective manner on a weekly basis.
All other programs, including energy economy.
