Educated Florida conservatives about climate change clean energy and various activities of the states monopoly utilities. Fought utility rate hikes. Educated Floridians about punitive fee proposals for electric vehicle owners. Promoted rooftop solar as a means of enhancing grid reliability during hurricanes.
Educated conservatives on problems associated with oil and gas development including methane emissions the need to increase leasing fees and royalty revenue public land impacts including the orphaned wells. Successfully worked to get new policies enacted to help address these problems.
Educated Arizona and Nevada conservatives about the importance of expanding the use of solar energy in these states and worked to get the states electric utilities to reduce the use of natural gas and coal for electricity generation. Fought utility rate hikes.
Worked to protect grizzly bears and wolves in the Northern Rockies ecosystem.
