Drug-free grant: pocomoke city is a rural town that has a population of approximately 4,061 residents. The pocomoke drug free coalition's target population is middle and high school youth, as well as parents. Our primary goals are to strengthen collaboration among communities, private nonprofit agencies, and federal, state, and local governments to support the efforts of Community coalitions to prevent and to reduce substance abuse among youth. The activities we are focusing on is training staff and our coalition members by using the samhsa sfp model to strengthen coalition governance, and to support prevention strategies.
