Infectious disease drug reimbursement program (iddap): the agency administers the commonwealth of Massachusetts' infectious disease drug assistance program providing life-saving medications, prescription co-payments, and health insurance to eligible Massachusetts residents who are otherwise unable to obtain these lifesaving drugs or health insurance.
Community based Research: the agency provides clinical trial participants with the opportunity to test New medications and treatment strategies with the goal of identifying easier and safer drug regimens. These New regimens help patients live more productive, comfortable and healthy lives.
Education: the agency provides education, skill-building and clinical mentoring opportunities for health care providers to address effective counseling, diagnosis, treatment and care management of individuals living with hiv/aids.
