Program areas at CI4CI
Community Programs: Ci4Ci develops and implements activities to engage residents of Merced who are experiencing social and environmental justice problems. (e.g., racism, food insecurity) These programs provide education and training for residents to become problem-solvers with public agencies and local leaders. During 2023, we provided programs to increase communication about racism and violence, to improve access to nutrtion food (especially for children), and to help youth explore careers that would help them and their families move out of poverty.
Consulting Services: We support nonprofit and grassroots programs and organizations with consulting services (e.g., advice, training, meeting facilitating, evaluation of progress) to help them achieve their mission and objectives. During 2023, we served over 15 nonprofit programs working to improve health, education, crime and violence, racism, and food security.
