Our providers' encounters increased by 14%. Although preventive screening decreased by 8% from 2020 to 2021, our to-date 2022 data shows an increase of 12.5% from 2020 and 20% from 2021. Within Program A, we also provide dental, behavioral health, substance abuse, and 340B pharmacy services. We look forward to optimizing patient access productivity, billing efficiencies, reimbursements, and payer performance by leveraging the right data matrix and insights. Since we are a grant-funded organization, we prioritize providing healthcare to every community regardless of income, race, and ethnicity.
Community Health Service Inc. also provides a battered women's program. This program provides advocacy and supportive services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. In our general advocacy services and a 24-hour crisis line, the bilingual advocates speak and provide direct bilingual advocacy, crisis assistance, and emotional support to victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence. In FY 2021, we provided crisis assistance and direct services to 619 victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence and 165 children. Our bilingual associates registered and met with 456 new domestic violence and sexual abuse victims and survivors accessing CHSI victim advocacy and supportive services. Registration data indicates the racial ethnicity of victims and survivors as American Indian, Black/African American, Hispanic Latino, Asian, White non-Latino or Caucasian, and Multiple Races.
