Communities in Schools of Petersburg

Organize school based coordinators to meet with their school support team to develop and implement a plan to address the identified needs. They attach measurable goals to the plans and track program to ensure the most effective supports are being delivered. Cis brings comunity resources into Schools to empower success for all students by removing barriers for vulnerable students at risk of dropping out and clearing the path to graduation. 90% of students improved their attendance, behavior, and/or academics; 95% of k-11 students were promoted to the next grade; 100% of seniors graduated or received ged; 4200 students served school wide; 307 students case managed and received targeted support.
