Program areas at Communities in Schools of Benton-Franklin

Service delivery - implementing the Communities in Schools model of integrated student supports within benton and franklin counties. Services were provided in richland, kennewick, pasco, prosser, and finley school districts by 33 site coordinators at 33 Schools. A total of 20,990 students received school-wide services, 1,303 students received case-managed support, and 10,275 parents were engaged. Student goal outcomes included 81% improved academic performance, 71% improved attendance, and 73% improved behavior. in '23-'24, we have used the data to inform our work and, in partnership with school districts and community partners, have implemented a variety of social-emotional supports.
