Communicare operates three primary care Centers at carefully chosen locations to provide the best access to healthcare for yolo county residents who cannot afford the full cost of healthcare and have no Health insurance. Services include primary care, reproductive Health, pediatric, and adolescent services. Clinical facilities are located in davis, west sacramento, and woodland. Visits totaled 70,922; total patients served was 17,000.
Perinatal services - a full spectrum of pre- and post-natal care, births Health education, nutrition counseling, and social work support for low-income and indigent women of yolo county. The program is a certified California perinatal services program (cpsp). Services are offered at five facilities in davis, west sacramento, woodland, winters, and dixon with births at sutter davis hospital. Visits totaled 13,970 and births at sutter davis hospital totaled over 490.
Behavioral Health services is an outpatient substance abuse treatment program which offers medically assisted withdrawal and treatment to adults and adolescents involved with methamphetamine, opiates, and marijuana in groups and one-on-one counseling. Additionally, this department now offers life counseling services provided by licensed clinical social services. Services are offered at three Communicare facilities: davis, west sacramento, and woodland. Visits totaled 57,665, serving over 4,950.
Dental program - acute and preventive dental care is provided for children and adults. Services include complete oral exams, x-rays, fillings, root canals, surgery, gum therapy, and specialty referrals. Services are provided at four sites in yolo county: davis, west sacramento, and woodland. Communicare also visits schools, child-care Centers, and Health fairs offering free exams, sealants, and oral education materials. Visits totaled over 17,114, with patient totals of 7,260.
