-partnered with danish officials for a study exchange designed to lower carbon emissions of business while financially benefiting the business instead of accruing fees. -with the newly restored swan island business Association, repaired the going street overcrossing after a two-year delay, completed 6 garbage cleanups and removed abandoned vehicles. -awarded our 7th epa clean diesel grant with the grant money going towards purchasing new clean diesel trucks and scrapping old models. 20 companies have been helped in purchasing clean diesel trucks. -continued work on setting up a freight friendly design for marine drive's interchange. -continued work with local improvement district to help design a better street cross section for n suttle road, titled "the worst road in portland". -continued to educate elected leaders of the value in the industrial sector which provides more family wage jobs to communities of color than any other sector and bridges the middle wage job gap. Worked on regional economic development concept, putting manufacturing at center. -maintained close relationship with multnomah county drainage district and continue to be engaged through preliminary engineering of levee improvements to the 27-mile system that protects 7 billion of infrastructure, 7,500 families, 2,500 businesses, 60,000 jobs, and over 2,000 acres of parks and natural areas.
