Conservation and stewardship: The Land Trust conserves wildlife habitat, scenic open space, agricultural lands, and land for outdoor recreation by working with landowners to acquire conservation easements and fee interests in real property. The organization restores and enhances habitat by working with landowners and other partners. The Land Trust also monitors and defends conservation easements.
Outreach and education: The Land Trust engages community members and organizations in environmental education and stewardship projects to increase understanding of the natural environment, foster a stewardship ethic, and connect our community to nature.
