Colorado Tree Coalition

The trees across Colorado program distributed 2062 trees to 31 groups & communities in april. The ctc awarded 19 community grants with 17 projects completed totaling $45,677 in grant funds. This included four xcel foundation grants and three xcel vegetation management grants.the champion Tree program maintained and updated a database of the largest trees by species, in the state with 778 trees listed by year end.walter vanderstok, a fifth grader from mountain view elementary school in broomfield was selected as the winner of the 2022 Colorado arbor day poster contest. 24 schools from across the state submitted entries. Our community education events included six front range urban forestry council meetings.
