Program areas at Colorado Organization for Latina Opportunity and Reproductive Rights
Education: educating community members on issues related to Reproductive health, Rights, and justice through fellowships, workshops, and education programs. As a major participant in latino/a advocacy day, color provides advocacy training and briefing on policy issues that most impact latinos in Colorado through a daylong advocacy experience that draws statewide participation.
Public policy: policy efforts support protecting and expanding Reproductive freedoms by helping to pass proactive legislation and/or blocking harmful bills. We seek to create a policy environment that protects and fosters the autonomy, economic security, and immigrant Rights of latinx individuals and families in Colorado.
Outreach & organizing: registering and educating voters while promoting civic engagement and voter turnout through integrated voter engagement. This program is a year-round, base-building, non-partisan effort to expand the latinx electorate in Colorado.
