Funds stewardship: the Colorado Historical Foundation manages endowments, restricted and custodial funds to benefit organizations and projects which further the Foundation's mission.
Additionally, the Foundation provides support to the chf revolving loan fund which finances historic property redevelopment in line with the "secretary of the interior's standards for the treatment of historic properties."
Easements and preservation: the organization accepts and monitors conservation easements to ensure the defining characteristics of historic structures and historically important land areas are preserved and protected. Additional preservation services include consultation, grant administration and project management in partnership with entities carrying out historic preservation and related research projects.
