Instruction: Saint John's University's undergraduate college programs are designed to meet the needs and aspirations of young men, emphasizing leadership and a personal development profile that includes intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical development. Its values-based and value-added residential liberal arts education provides the framework for fulfilling lives of disciplined inquiry and leadership in careers devoted to the professions, public life and service to others. Undergraduate fall enrollment of 1,557 fte students and 374 graduates. Approximately 9 percent of graduates go directly to graduate school, while the remainder choose to find career-related positions or enter service work.saint John's school of theology: seminary graduate program for men and women is a rich and diverse learning community in the benedictine tradition, where students receive strong support for their academic and spiritual development. The graduate program offers the master of arts degree in theology, liturgical studies, liturgical music, pastoral ministry, and a master of divinity degree. These degrees prepare students for ordination to the roman catholic priesthood and deaconate, for lay ministry, teaching, and further academic study. Graduate fall enrollment of 64 fte and 26 graduates.
Auxiliary services: as a rural residential campus, st. John's University operates its auxiliary services to enhance the educational experience by building a sense of community. These auxiliary operations provide services such as housing, food service, and the bookstore.
Student services and programming: through a four-year residential program, nearly all students (86%) live on campus. Saint John's University's student development programs promote the health, safety, learning, growth, and development of students within the context of community. We are particularly attentive to college men and their engagement and reflection in ways that are consistent with our catholic, benedictine, residential, liberal arts identity and character. The faculty resident program is a distinctive part of campus life, whereby benedictine professors and administrators live in the residence areas and serve as adult mentors.
