Code Fever Miami is a program that provides training and support to youths and adults in the field of computer programming. They aim to drive greater diversity in Miami's startup community by serving as a platform for minority-owned, high growth startups to connect with venture capitalists, other entrepreneurs, and established technology companies. This program provides a series of convenings that connect black-owned small businesses in new orleans with training and mentorship, to help them identify ways of integrating technology into their businesses that will improve sustainability.

Program areas at Center For Black Innovation

Our community space and events provided essential resources to the community including job training, educational support, and wellness programs. Through our outreach efforts and partnerships, we facilitated 1,000 hours of volunteer service, empowering underserved populations and creating lasting positive impact in our local neighborhoods.
The DA Dorsey program provides individuals and group coaching and consulting from industry experts to culinarians and restarant owners to develop solid resilient infrastructure that generates revenue.
Angel Accreditation increases the number of minority-founded, venture-backed, high-growth businesses in the U.S. by identifying, cultivating and showcasing minority entrepreneurial talent connecting this talent to investment opportunities identifying and cultivating potential minority accredited investors connecting minority accredited investors to local capital markets and making targeted ecosystems inclusive and connected nationally.
