Program areas at Cocal Gracias
Cocal Gracias funded and ran ministerio la voz, a trade school in puerto cortes all year. The mission is to provide affordable trade education and train professionals who love jesus. We taught computers, english, welding, mechanics, and sewing. We had 63 students finish classes in the second semester and we graduated 9 students this year. Graduates are able to find jobs in tourism, construction, and workshops. Other graduates work for themselves. We held a weekly church service at mlv every wednesday at 4:30 pm.
Mission teams
In february, we opened a new center called timothy center in agua caliente. The 6500 sqft facility was built by Cocal Gracias the last two years. We held services and worship with the children from the villages. We had after school tutoring and activities for them. Cocal Gracias provided all of the materials and furniture needed for the operation of the center.
