Winslow therapeutic riding was formed in 1974 to promote equine assisted activities and therapies for individuals with special needs. After it merged its CLC Foundation in 2014, it continued to help even more children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges. In addition to therapeutic riding the center offers farm experience, full day programs for children and adults and instructor training courses.
The Foundation serves as trustee for the CLC supplemental needs pooled trust. The trust is an irrevocable supplemental needs pooled trust established for the sole benefit of individual beneficiaries who are disabled.
Hidden treasures is an educational arts program. Students are disabled and this program enables them to develop self awarness. The students attend weekly when in session.
