Emanate Health Medical Center (ehmc) operates two acute care hospitals, queen of the valley hospital (qvh) and inter-community hospital (ich), in the east san gabriel valley of los angeles county. Ehmc provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care for the communities surrounding the two Medical hospitals. Qvh and ich provide care for an average of 292 patients per day. Combined adjusted patient days was 157,534. Emergency room & outpatient visits totaled 191,987. Ehmc provided traditional charity care at cost totaling $1,901,281, unreimbursed medi-caMedicalal program cost totaling $55,880,900 and other community benefit cost totaling $3,601,557. During 2019, ehmc recorded net supplemental payments of $52,174,521 from the California hospital fee program (program) for the hospital services to medi-caMedicalal fee-for-service patients covered for the period from january 1, 2019 to december 31, 2019.
