Program areas at Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort

In 2019, the corporation helped many areas that were flooded from the excessive spring rains and snow melt. We also helped areas hit by tornadoes, and hurricanes. We also helped by providing supplies to healing hands international so they could be sent to the bahamas after that area was devastated by a hurricane in september. We also provided truckloads of drinking water to communities that had issues with the drinking water. We provided for the basic needs of food and water, personal hygiene, new clothing, and cleaning supplies. Low-income, uninsured families were provided new beds, and appliances and new household furniture as their homes were rebuilt, even for hurricanes, wildfires and tornadoes that took place in previous years. All assistance and supplies sent were at no cost to anyone, so that we might help those in need that had been affected by these disasters in their community.
