Program areas at Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort

In 2022 we were busy continuing to help families that had lost their homes in 2021 due to tornadoes, because of the long time process to rebuild. We continued helping 1 community in Alabama, 1 in Georgia, 3 communities in Kentucky, and 1 in Tennessee after families were able to move back into their homes. We continued helping 5 communities in Louisiana, and 1 in Texas that were hit by hurricane ida in '21. A lot of truckloads of household goods went to waverly, tn which had a major unexpected flash flood. We helped 2 communities in Arkansas, 1 in Kansas, 1 in Louisiana, 1 in michiga, 1 in Mississippi, 2 in Oklahoma, and 1 in Texas after tornadoes hit in '22. We helped after wildfires destroyed areas around mariposa, California, las vegas, new mexico, and gorman, Texas. Hurricane ian hit 8 communities in Florida in 2022. Heavy flooding hit a community in Georgia, 11 communities in eastern Kentucky, and 1 in western Virginia. We also helped marion, Kentucky along with anguilla and jackson, Mississippi when their fresh water systems failed.
