Residential Services - The facility is licensed annually by the State Department ofSocial Services to provide care for 90 children ages 1 to 18. The Children'sReceiving Home is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for theadmission of children and serves between 1,000 and 1,200 children a year. Childrenare in crisis when they are admitted to this facility, and our objective is to be assupportive and constructive as possible during their stay here, to prepare them for success in future residential placement with relatives or a resource (foster) family.Clinical Services - The Children's Receiving Home's Mental Health Program is funded through a contract with Sacramento County MentalHealth utilizing Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) funding.EPSDT is the child health component of Medicaid.
