Children's Literacy Initiative (CLI)

Children's Literacy Initiative focuses on solving the equity and opportunity gap in early Literacy for pre-k to 5th grade children. Cli provided workshops, in-person and virtual coaching, and high quality Children's books to approximately 3,200 educators and 57,500 students in six states. Cli consistently receives four-star ratings from charity navigator. In addition to $12.5m in fee-for-service revenue, cli received both philanthropic and federal funding, bringing total revenue to $23.5m. With 5.5% of expenses going towards fundraising and 11.3% towards management and general expenses, cli is able to direct 83.2% towards program services.
