No one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. The community support program offers sliding scale discounts for lowincome families to ensure mental healthcare is available for all children. We raise money through grants, individual donations, and corporate sponsorships to cover their fees. We see this as an investment in a valuable community resource our children. Operation of the warm springs counseling center provided outpatient counseling and therapy services for children and their families, with an emphasis on those lacking the resources to pay for services. The organization provided 836 in intake appointments, 11,488 in counseling sessions, 1,011 counseling and therapy for the children with their families.
The Children's Home Society operated the touchstone program, which was established to support the special needs of grieving children & adolescents, ages 5 through 18.
Operated by Children's Home Society of Idaho, the warm springs training institute (wsti) helped ensure continuing education to therapists by offering a series of professional development seminars. A unique emphasis of this continuing education program is its collaboration with Idaho universities, school districts, state agencies, family physicians, pediatricians and other nonprofit organizations that serve children & families. Wsti strives to be the first choice for those who serve them. The mission of wsti is to foster the professional development of mental health providers who serve children and those who care for them.
