Program areas at Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl
The Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl and its charitable giving platform were created to foster & promote ncaa football competition and to support college education through scholarship donations, and also to support children's health initiatives, disaster relief, and other deserving charitable organizations in our community and in the communities of our participating universities. In the fiscal year ending may 31, 2020, Peach Bowl Inc donated $20,564,682 to the children's healthcare of atlanta foundation, $1,090,300 to augusta university covid-19 response fund, $100,000 to the american red cross for disaster relief, $84,000 to atlanta partners for education, $150,000 to the atlanta public schools play it smart program, $50,000 to Georgia lions lighthouse foundation, $50,000 each to the scholarship programs at the university of Oklahoma and Louisiana state university, and $22,850 to various other deserving charitable organizations.
The Peach Bowl challenge golf tournament and its charitable giving platform were created to foster & promote ncaa competition and to support college education through the funding of endowed scholarships. Donations are also made to several other charitable organizations in our community, and in the communities of our participating universities. In the fiscal year ending may 31, 2020 because of covid-19 we were unable to have the Peach Bowl challenge golf tournament.
The Chick-Fil-A kickoff game and its charitable giving platform were created to foster & promote ncaa football competition and to support college education through scholarship donations. The kickoff game is a neutral site college football game which is played at the beginning of every season. In the fiscal year ending may 31, 2020, Peach Bowl Inc hosted the Chick-Fil-A kickoff game and contributed a total of $7,750,000 to educational institutions via game participation payouts to duke university and the university of Alabama.
