Program areas at Chevra USA

Israel Relief Aid (IRA) Accomplishment: We partnered with our sister organization in Israel to provide humanitarian aid to new immigrants, the elderly, the unemployed, impoverished Jews, Holocaust survivors, single mothers and the disabled in Israel. We have very little overhead to administer this service, so all donations received by Chevra USA designated for the IRA are disseminated to the IRA organization.
Poland (POL) Accomplishment: We support a full range of humanitarian services in Poland, funded through unrestricted donations. Support includes humanitarian aid to the elderly, Holocaust survivors and poor.
Ukraine Accomplishment(UKR): We support soup kitchens in a number of cities in Ukraine which feed a large number of people each month, in addition to the regular humanitarian aid distributed in that country. The grants made to Ukraine were supported by donations received that were specifically designated for our Ukraine ministry and supplemented by unrestricted donations over and above specific designations
Additional Accomplishments: Provided Grants to five other humanitarian organizations in Europe including organizations in Israel(3), Moldova and Caucuses. Services of these organizations include soup kitchens, humanitarian aid for the poor and employees and special projects to aid the elderly
