Csf believes that education is a critical component to helping traumatized children heal and have designed its trauma talks educational programs for the community at large, and professionals who are on the frontlines, including mental health professionals, educators, and organizations working with children. Offered both as live presentations and accessible on demand videos, traumatalks are high-quality trauma-informed-training and professional development presentations. Each talk is targeted towards a different audience and a different aspect of trauma, including the most recent trauma in the classroom presentation, which was developed in response to texass trauma-informed-training requirement for all public and charter school educators. One of a few organizations in Texas leveraging lived experience along with evidence-based research through its educational platform, csf has trained more than 2,000 parents, educators, mental health professionals and advocates since 2018, formed multiple partnerships with schools and childserving organizations to bring awareness about childhood trauma, and reached more than 250,000 people on social media through educational and awareness posts on facebook and instagram.
