Program areas at Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council

The mission of CCLC is to educate and support landscape professionals to implement sustainable landscapes and green infrastructure practices for a healthy and resilient Chesapeake Bay. Through efforts such as the Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP) Certification and the biennial Turning a New Leaf conference, CCLC advances conservation landscaping practices that have ecological benefits throughout the Bay watershed. Approximately 220 landscape professionals completed the requirements for CBLP certification in 2023, bringing the total number of certified pros over 1300.
