Aims at the promotion and advancement of science and engineering in the field of Chemical and biological microsystems, and to stimulate the exchange of ideas and information between academic, industrial and government researchers. The CBMS supports and sponsors the yearly Micro total analysis systems (Microtas) Conference that has been held since 1994, first on a biennial basis, and since 2000 on an annual basis. The CBMS Board installs and designates the future chairperson(s) as well as the technical program committee of the Microtas Conference.
From 23 - 27 October 2022, the 26th International Conference on Miniaturized Systems for Chemistry and Life Sciences (TAS 2022) will be held as a hybrid meeting. The in-person component - held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center in Hangzhou, China - will be paired with a virtual conference site hosted on-line. In tandem with an on-site program, cutting edge technical solutions and live streaming tools, as well as early creation of community, will allow us to bring MicroTAS content and connections to attendees anywhere in the world.TAS 2022 continues an international Conference series that is the premier forum for reporting research results in microfluidics, microfabrication, nanotechnology, integration, materials and surfaces, analysis and synthesis, and detection technologies for the life sciences and chemistry. The Conference offers plenary and invited talks, expansive poster sessions, networking forums, and an array of industry exhibitions, as well as numerous contributed oral and poster presentations selected from submitted abstracts. Owing to the TAS 2022 hybrid format, each aspect offers in-person and remote attendees the opportunity to share, learn, and engage.Following Kaohsiung 2018, Basel in 2019, virtual format in 2020 and our first Hybrid meeting in 2021, we welcome you to China. We anticipate over 1000 scientists, trainees, and industry professionals from around the globe will once again share advances regarding integrated microsystems and nanotechnology for chemistry and life sciences both in-person and virtually.Regardless of how you choose to participate, we look forward to welcoming you to the TAS 2022 hybrid conference during the week of 23 - 27 October 2022.
