Workforce innovation & opportunity act grant cfda 17.259 - youth -Charlotte Works convenes youth-serving organizations to provide education and training opportunities that help youth and young adults hit the ground running in high demand careers. -services provided to youth ages 16 -24 include (but are not limited to) career advising, mentoring, occupational skills training, paid and unpaid work experiences and supportive services. -179 youth gained employment and 157 earned a credential

Workforce innovation & opportunity act grant cfda 17.258 - adult continued from 4b: -Charlotte Works received a health career pathway certification to ensure that career-seekers have access to the exact education, training and credentials needed by employers. Charlotte Works partnered with atrium health implementing our healthcare career pathways initiative which resulted in 35 job candidates referred for cna (certified nurse aide) and cma (certified medical assistant) positions. Of those 35 candidates, 13 were hired.
