Program areas at The Collective Blueprint

TCB's core service is to partner with young adults ages 18-30 who are out of work and out of school to provide intensive support as they identify career pathways of interest, pursue certifications that prepare them for those industries, and seek entry- level employment in their fields. TCB provides the alignment and support that is currently missing from educational and employment systems. This support includes, but is not limited to, pathway and career exposure, coaching, professional development and leadership training, social/emotional support and mental health services, basic job skills training, transportation assistance, academic support and a monthly stipend. This year, we have expanded our programming and are now serving students at the high school level, to create bridges to post-secondary pathways, so they can avoid becoming disconnected young adults. In doing this work, we deeply understand systemic barriers to economic mobility. We have expanded to affect change at the systems level by building cross-sector coalitions to improve the quality and alignment of educational and employment opportunities. We are a regional leader in issues of education and employment, and we partner with business, educational institutions, social service organizations, and the local government to design and implement new pathways into economic mobility for Memphis youth.
