All services are geared toward direct patient care. The Medical Center had 13,324 admissions and 59,037 patient days plus 227,344 outpatient visits and 7,448 same day surgery procedures. The Medical Center also provides other community services. The Student Health Awareness Center provides health education and information, as well helping girl and boy scouts to earn badges. The Clinic also provides specialty services such as OBGYN, pediatric, neurology, cardiology, and many others. CentraState established a community advisory council designed to access community health needs. The ER's "Buckle Up" program works with the local Police to check vehicles for seat belt use.
