Program areas at Central City Neighborhood Partners

Community Development Initiatives - 1) Transportation Initiatives (traffic safety education); 2)Volunteer Income Tax Assistance; 3)Outreach Education Initiatives, including community outreach and education to the community with regards to empowering families in several initiative such as; CENSUS, water conservation, health and others; 4)Empowering Tomorrows Leaders, through youth leadership program, civic engagement and internships opportunities; and COVID-19 Outreach and Education Program.
Financial Education - are offered to program participants on the following topics: budgeting; use of mainstream banking, maintaining checking account, understanding credit, debt reduction, acquiring assets, and how to identiffy and avoid predatory lending practices. This program has an established hours of workshops that include financial coaching and income tax preparation.
Family Source Program - Designed to provide a continuum of core services that assist low-income families and individuals to become self-sufficient by increasing family income and/or academic achievement.
Youth Source Program/Others - to assist with the recruitment of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act(WIOA) participants through neighborhood outreach and serve as the youth source program site. (Included in the Community Devt Initiatives)
Food Security Program - Food security through the distribution of groceries, diapers and essential needs. (note, this is included in the Community Devt. Initiatives Program)
