Center of Wellness of Urban Women empowers urban women to become proactive in their health through education, advocacy, care and prevention--mind, body and spirit. In 2022, the Center has provided over 200 women with support to improve their quality of life through mental health support, healthcare navigation, and basic needs support through our connection 4 Wellness program. The Center has also introduced wellness modalities to 124 women in Indianapolis, IN.

Program areas at Center of Wellness of Urban Women

During 2022, we have provided over 200 Women with support to improve their quality of life through mental health support, healthcare navigation, and basic needs support through our connection 4 Wellness program. We've introduced Wellness modalities to 124 Women impacted by violence to help address trauma and reduce stress through our power of retreat program and helping Women to achieve whole health through physical activity and improving their intake of nutritious foods; cwuw reached over. 365 Women through sisters together: move more, eat better services. We continue to provide supportive settings for marginalized Women who need understanding to achieve their health journey.
