Program areas at CHD

Mental health/addiction services provides behavioral health clinical services, group residences, day programs, residential support and outreach services to adults and adolescents afflicted with mental illness and/or dealing with addictions. In fiscal year 2018, these programs served 11,482 persons in western Massachusetts and in Connecticut.

Homelessness prevention programs provide temporary residences and supportive services directed to return families to permanent housing. These programs served 1,165 persons in fiscal year 2018.

Children and families services include foster care placements, group residential programs, youth mentoring, and early intervention services to children from birth to three years, who are at risk of developmental delays. These programs served 2,704 persons in fiscal year 2018, primarily in the pioneer valley and western Massachusetts.
