Collaborate. Share responsibility. Make connections. Milwaukee's regional Healthcare employers agree that workforce planning strategies must be undertaken now to build and sustain a future workforce. To that end, four major Healthcare systems - froedtert health, advocate aurora Healthcare, children's Wisconsin, and ascension health have taken the lead by becoming investing stakeholders in creating an employer-lead, demand driven workforce solution strategy.in addition, job connector events were held to link community referrals to system partner position openings,launched 4 cohorts of accelerated medical assistant (ma) training program which has reduced ma training time by up to 85%. 54 participants were enrolled in the program in 2022provided career exploration activities and events to high school students in Southeast Wisconsin to expose students to Careers in Healthcare including; summer hospital internships, "hands-on Healthcare" events, high school job fairs and career fairs, "meet the Healthcare professional" events, additional Healthcare videos and virtual Healthcare career brochures added to youtube Healthcare career video library.
