Center for Family Medicine (CFM)

Education of Family practice doctors - the Center operates a resident program for approximately 36 resident doctors. The Center is a corporate extension of avera mckennan hospital & university health Center and sanford usd medical Center. The Center's purpose is to foster better hospital, medical and health services in the surrounding communities through the establishment of facilities for research, medical education, personnel training and coordination of medical education, and to engage in the recruiting, training and education of medical interns, residents and other allied health services, providing training in sioux falls and pierre, south dakota.
