Community outreach and voteatl- voteatl is a year-round effort to inform residents of atlanta about representation, power, and budgets that affect the well-being of our communities. The organization hosts events to increase Civic participation, through public programs and policy research, and elevate more effective solutions, through trainings and support services for Civic leaders, entrepreneurs, and movement builders.
Inequality in philanthropy: black women are pioneers of social Innovation and their long history of working to create community must be recognized. Our inequality in philanthropy work is led by an advisory group of black female leaders who understand firsthand how long-standing power dynamics within philanthropic institutions restrict their ability to raise capital. They are addressing these deep-rooted biases and broken processes by designing a new way for how philanthropy should, and could operate in the future in atlanta.
Npu initiative: an effort to provide the city of atlanta with policy recommendations on improving our city's historic system of Civic engagement, the neighborhood planning units. This is guided by an advisory board made up of community engagement leaders.
