Program areas at Cayce Beautification Foundation

The History Park is approximately 350 acres of property that was donated to the city by SCANA Corporation. The property had been found to be historically significant because there have been several archaeological digs that have found evidence of Native American, Revolutionary War and Civil War occupation on this site. The site is also home to one of the last remaining intact Civil War embankments. SCANA built approximately 3 miles of concrete trails on the property and the City of Cayce has followed behind them with major repairs, installation of lights and call boxes on the property. These trails connect to Phase IV of the City's Riverwalk Trail and are currently being operated as part of the City's trail system.
