Program areas at Catholic Mobilizing Network

The Catholic Mobilizing Network (cmn) equips and empowers state Catholic bishops conferences, diocesan offices and roman Catholic institutions, parishes and ministries in efforts to end the use of the death penalty, and in promoting the principles and practices of restorative justice. The organization educates the Catholic community through training, formation, educational experiences, and prayer materials related to church teaching on the death penalty and restorative justice. Cmn facilitates respectful and informed discourse within the Catholic community and public debate in order to end the death penalty, advance justice, and begin healing. Each year Catholic Mobilizing Network offers opportunities for engagement that result in tens of thousands of individual and collective actions to oppose executions and support initiatives to end capital punishment in the united states. Catholic Mobilizing Network gave over 80 national presentations educating church leaders, ministry advocates, and students about the death penalty.
