Immigration Services: refugee resettlement, legal Services, unaccompanied minors, day laborer, and esl Services. Measurable refugee resettlement Services include 1,327 households with enhanced case management, social and employment Services. Measurable legal Services include consultations to 4,834 individuals, representations on 812 deportation cases, and represented 1,598 individuals in other key Services. Measurable unaccompanied minors Services include 3,806 children served and 1,657 legal orientations provided to adult custodians of unaccompanied children. Measurable day labor Services include 2,353 individuals served and 76 certification courses provided for 1,573 enrollees. Measurable esl Services include esl instruction to 1,076 clients. This year 99,860 immigration related calls for help were answered promptly with accurate information in multiple languages.
Beacon of hope (behavioral health Services): through the beacon of hope division, Catholic Charities provides a continuum of housing opportunities to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness with a capacity to care for and shelter 565 individuals. (unduplicated individuals actually served: 538 in fy 24)
Community outreach: Community outreach Services includes a broad array of programs related to case management, eviction prevention, emergency food support, and housing support Services. Measurable case management results for the year included: 4,883 individuals served, 1,225 individuals provided financial assistance, 8,960 total individuals provided internal (1,433) and external (8,048) referrals, 973 individuals provided goods. Our case management helpline received 39,581 calls and processed 8,443 total referrals (5,948 internal) and (2,495 external). Measurable emergency food results for the year included: 2,691 provided with assistance applying for snap benefits, 15,611 individuals (unduplicated) distributed food to through directly administered pantries and approximately 17,824 individuals distributed food to through partner pantries, 258,280 lbs. of food incoming to food hub with 304,188 lbs. of food outgoing, a total of 5,783,344 meals were served through all programs including special requests and homebound/partner programs. Measurable eviction prevention results for the year included: 6,172 individuals served, 4,489 evictions prevented; 5,028 cases closed with Services delivered; 5,211 referrals provided, 4,832 individuals improved/maintained housing status. Measurable housing support results for the year included: 634 households served, 254 improved/maintained housing status; 474 cases closed with service goals achieved.
