Program areas at Catapult Greater Pittsburgh

Basics - This program helps low-income people become leaders as they develop and execute a plan to resolve poverty. It also pairs them with middle-income allies to increase their social capital and help improve their employment opportunities and financial well-being.
Entrepreneurial - This program works with low-income entrepreneurs to start or expand their small businesses. The program provides training and mentorship to entrepreneurs. Catapult also operates a retail incubator shop for business start ups to sell their products and services, test the market and refine their business strategy.
Home Ownership and Financial Education - This program helps individuals and families understand budgeting and improve their financial stability by decreasing expenses and debt and increasing savings. It also works with people looking to become homeowners to improve their credit, get approved for a mortgage and find a home they can afford and take the necessary steps to maintain it as an asset.
