Awarded scholarships to 96 Carmel high school seniors to support their pursuit of post-secondary Education, including college degrees and technical certifications. Additionally, one Carmel high school student received a scholarship to attend a journalism workshop in summer 2024 to further their academic interests. Provided scholarships to 11 Carmel middle school students for advanced music instruction during summer 2024.
Allocated $5,555.32 through the rise and grow program to support 10 students in accessing individual, group, or family therapy sessions, as well as substance treatment programs, for families facing financial barriers due to lack of insurance or underinsurance.
Awarded 53 grants to a total of 89 teachers and 20 students. Grants were awarded to individuals, or to a group of applicants. More than 6,500 students benefited from the implementation of these grants in the areas of student learning resources, wellness, community building, or opportunities for success.
