Care Net Womens Resource Center of North County

This year our licensed community clinic was staffed by approximately 35 volunteers, supported by Board of 8 members, plus our great staff.We had 3,674 combined visits to the center. Most of the clients we see are low income, and often uninsured. Because all of our services are provided at no cost, they can be seen without the concern for payment restricting access.In the clinic we gave 750 pregnancy tests (645 were positive). We provided 447 ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy. Each client was offered public health information, community resources, medically accurate information about fetal development, pregnancy, and the impact of abortion on a woman's health. In the Family Education Department, we had 2,735 men and women attend our pregnancy, parenting, and life skills classes.
