Program areas at Capital for Good USA

FY2018 had a variety of programmatic activities, some of which continued or concluded pre-existing work and some of which were new endeavors. Sports for Development Initiative: This project concluded in December 2017. Capital for Good had provided funding to Football for Good (FFG) to deliver a fun, engaging, and meaningful sport experience to five community schools in Amuru district in northern Uganda: Bana Hill, Kali Kali, Kololo, Lakang, and St. Paul Acut Yika. The program ran over a period of approximately 20 weeks, reaching over 200 students (boys and girls) through ball mastery, skills competitions and small-sided games in order to develop their leadership skills, increase self-esteem and build character.
