Program areas at Bors Hede Inne Camlann Village
DINNER THEATER: 14th century dining and feasts at the Bors Hede Inne, based on medieval recipes, with minstrel and interpreter presentations. Wednesday through Sunday 5-8 PM. Meals from $15 (lunch) to $40 (dinner) to $60 (feast) per guest (50% for food, 50% for entertainment). Holiday banquets for May, St James (July), Harvest (August, Michelmasse (September), all with historical cuisine and entertainment; about 2100 guests for the season.
VILLAGE DAYS: (36 weekend days, noon to 5 PM, May through September) Daily life demonstrations for a rural 14th century village: crafts, food, animals, gardens, architecture, discussed in roll-playing conversations with visitors. Approximately 14 volunteers and 5 staff. About 1150 visitors of all ages.
SUMMER FESTIVALS: (10 days - 1 weekend per month, May through September) 'Holyday' life in medieval England. Approximately 3400 visitors of all ages. 40 performers and interpreters, including early music ensembles, puppet shows, dancing, games, longbow archery, hand craft demonstrations and a public banquet.
