Social Tides (Google)With the help of the Google.org Fund and Social Tides Foundation, Inco was able to establish a Solutions Fund programme destined to further Europe's social Economy. The fund developed two tracks for aspiring social entrepreneurs, the Aspire Track and the Grow Track.Whereas the Aspire Track is a short term involvement with potential entrepreneurs, the Grow Track accompanies them longer, more intensively.Based on the current success an additional two countries are about to start their own local programs.Due to the nature of each program, the Aspire Track provides a two month involvement with the entrepreneurs in their respective countries assisting with business knowledge and shaping their business idea or product. The Gow Track however provides an eight month paneuropean program that involves the candidates in creating active steps to furthering their business and provides them with an even more nurturing environment. Each participant gains among other things viable business experience and networking opportunities by collaborating with their cohort. Both programs also provide financial aid to graduates after completion to ensure the best potential outcome for the entrepreneurs . So far the financial impact amounts to 209 000. On average each participant received 5 650 per so far.The Grow Program counts 33 participants from 12 countries who are currently still enrolled until March 2023.As for the Aspire Program, 37 graduated with 57% being female entrepreneurs.
Australia TechIn November 2019, INCO launched INCO Academy across Australia, France, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom which has seen such success that it is currently expanding to Poland and Luxemburg.Today multiple benefactors such as the Google.org Fund, Atlassian and Accenture participate in funding tech schemes in Australia. The program's goal is to democratize tech skills and thus level the global playing field. In Australia this path started with a module called GetintoTech which is a 4-week bootcamp that helps participants to discover the sector and its opportunities. Further modules such as InCode, InMarketing or in UX Design provide applied learning courses to students. In addition students also receive courses furthering their soft skills and cultural knowledge to better adapt to their working environment. Today IT skills become increasingly important however green digital skills are very high in demand as well. Inco Academy therefore partnered with giants Microsoft, Linkedin and Credit Suisse to equip learners with a Green Digital Skills Certification to further their careers.Inco Academy in Australia is proud to help a 60% female student population which are mainly refugees, first generation or First Nation students and to provide a placement scheme for students who completed their course. So far 301 students graduated from a course offered by Inco Academy Australia and 80 graduates (26%), were being matched with Startup companies.
Work in Tech IndonesiaInco's Work in Tech Indonesia program was launched in partnership with Plan International's local group in December 2021 for a duration of 16 months with funds provided by the Google.org Fund. Its focus is to provide people with knowledge in the IT field to help them secure an advantage on the job market. The students, who are represented by a large majority of vocational students from rural areas with a low income potential, therefore gain vital information in a field that will take a gradually larger part for every type of job in the future. In Addition the program provides them with the choice of specialization in a soaring IT field (digital marketing, data or web development) as well as soft skills training. After the end of their study Working in Tech offers a work placement scheme which accompanies the students individually during their placements in a partner company. Work in Tech but also its main partner, the Google Fund, organize job events to match interested companies with their alumni. So far the program is ahead of schedule with already having achieved 75% of its target training 10.000 students. Many of them, 42% to be exact, have already graduated and a third of graduates were able to find a work placement or further study.
