Calm Waters Center for Children and Families is a safe, supportive environment where Children, young adults, and Families share their emotions and experiences, while learning healthy coping skills that allow them to continue the healing process. Calm Waters offers free evening grief support groups to those who have experienced the death of a loved one or a divorce. Free school-based grief groups provide support for students (pre-k through 12th grade) in metro area schools. These groups are for students with family loss issues such as: death, divorce, foster care, the deployment, incarceration or deportation of a parent or guardian as well as community disasters.
